A Successful and Growing Medical Device and Biotechnology Company, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Director who has worked with high-volume, FDA regulated GMP manufacturing with high skills, batch processes possibly including injection molding, machining, clean room, sterilization, chemical processes, assembly, automation and polymer processing.

Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing, the Director will be responsible for running this Companys largest operation consisting of 4 plants and over 2,500 people. You will have full responsibility for manufacturing operations, supply chain, finance, manufacturing engineering, quality, Information Technology, testing , validation, EH&S, and site facilities with a budget exceeding $400M.

Duties Include:
Managing multi-plant or large operations to budget and future direction of operations to achieve continuous improvements in cost (waste, efficiency, expense spending, working capital, etc.), quality, safety, service, and employee morale.
Ensuring the professional development of all employees, including succession planning activity and training opportunities.
Cultivating a safe and ethical work environment by ensuring adherence to all corporate policies, state, and federal laws and all applicable government agencies.
Manage plants operations, service levels, inventories, safety goals, and quality levels.
Cultivates a safe, ethical work environment for all through adherence to corporate policies, state/federal laws, and all applicable governmental agencies.
Defines and implements long term direction and strategies for the plant.
Develops and ensures a cohesive and focused Plant Leadership Team.


Requirements:
BS Engineering, Business or related field MBA strongly desired.
Ten to fifteen years experience managing a manufacturing organization with five or more years experience in the medical device industry where GMPs are employed.
Experience to include management of multiple disciplines as well as expertise in the use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools to implement and manage change initiatives.
Demonstrated success working in a matrix organization where influencing without direct authority is required.
Financial acumen; experience and accomplished in obtaining bottom-line results.
Track record of significant results accomplished through demonstration of mission critical behaviors.
Experience in managing a diverse employee population.
