Job Description
Manager Professional Learning & Organizational Development

Reporting to the Director, the Manager Professional of Learning & Organizational Development will lead Medical Device Education/Training for internal learning and development including Organizational Development curriculum and some sales training.

Main Responsibilities include: Responsible for the design, development, and delivery of learning curriculum and organization development initiatives that are integrated and aligned with existing programs and systems. Collaborates with HR Business Partners to identify needs and determine appropriate solutions, and implement strategies and projects that will increase business and organizational performance. Cultivates understanding of internal and external resources available, and works with internal groups and extern vendors to meet identified needs. Creates comprehensive communication that generates buy-in and commitment to programs. Evaluates the results of learning and organization development and makes modifications and enhancements as needed. This individual will work very closely with the HR Peer group to ensure that the learning model and programs created meet the needs of the business.


Familiar with industry standard concepts, practices and procedures within corporate learning and organization development. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


Ideal candidate will have a background in Learning and Development, Human Resources and/or Organization Development;
Strong internal and external customer service orientation;
Occasional Domestic and International travel (10-20%);
Demonstrated process and diagnostics skills coupled with successful execution and implementation experience;
Knowledge of key evaluation concepts, understanding of strategic evaluation efforts, such as balanced scorecards and dashboards that roll up to key business drivers, knowledge strong ability to perform within and contribute to a diverse, global team;
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.


Assists Director of Learning and Organization Development for corporate initiative roll-outs, which may include:

Implementing leadership and organization development programs on an ongoing basis across the company;
Conducting needs assessments within other global business units to evaluate current gaps against business objectives;
Assisting in the selection and oversight of outside developmental resources for the organization.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum five (5) years experience learning and/or organization development experience;
BS/BA degree required;
MA/Organizational Development advanced degree highly desirable;
Above average proficiency in standard PC applications such as Microsoft Office, including
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher;
Certifications in MBTI, situational leadership and targeted selection preferred.
